Wilson Central Choral Booster club will
meet this Thursday evening 02/11/10 in the choir room @ 6:30pm. We have a lot of
things to discuss with the upcoming trips.
From the Booster Club President:
There is an immediate need for an election
for Vice President with the resignation of Anthony McLeish. Be thinking of
individuals you think would be willing and capable of serving in this position.
Nominations for and the election of someone to fill that position is a
requirement per Booster Club by-laws. Each of you needs to
consider the future direction of the Booster Club, its officers and the direction of
the choral program in general for the students and Mr. Farmer. Although meeting
attendance is optional the need for parental involvement is not. Your students
depend on you to support them and Mr. Farmer. The Booster Club depends upon
parents as well – we work with the parents, not in place of them, to assist the
choral program in an effort to make things easier for you, your students and Mr.
Farmer. Everyone needs to get behind the club, the officers and the program to
ensure continued pride and success for our students and our school. The WCHS
choral program has a long history of excellence and outstanding achievement
because EVERYONE works together to make it happen. Please do your part as a
parent to make sure that reputation continues.
Your attendance and involvement would be
appreciated.

Kroger Cards: The booster club plans to take orders for Kroger cards again this year. If you already have one designated for the WCHS Booster Club, that is great! However, if you don't have one, now is a great time to order. Each time you purchase groceries, gas, etc. and use your Kroger card, the Booster Club will receive a certain percentage of that sale. Please let us know if you would like to purchase a Kroger Card. Thanks!
